CBUS Top Picks Winner: YWCA Kids Place

The Columbus Dispatch, through a community voting process, recognizes the “best businesses and organizations in the area” with its CBUS Top Picks Community’s Choice Awards each year, and YWCA Kids Place was just named the best afterschool program in Central Ohio!

Each year, the CBUS Top Picks Community’s Choice Awards recognizes more than 450 businesses and organizations, starting with public nominations. The voting round selects the finalists and winners from the top five nominees in each category.

YWCA Kids Place received its award at the Dec. 12 Awards Gala at St. Charles Preparatory School’s Walter Commons.

“We are grateful to the community for recognizing us and voting for YWCA this year,” said Christina Walls, managing director of education at YWCA Columbus. “I am also incredibly proud of our team, who ensures the kids have a high quality before- and after-school experience every day.”

YWCA Columbus’ Kids Place sites are all Step Up To Quality-rated and inclusion-credentialed. For more information about Kids Place, visit ywcacolumbus.org/YKP.
